Richard Keosian Obituary

Richard Keosian Richard peacefully passed away December 26, 2010. He was born July 7, 1925 in Fresno, CA to Arsen Sr. and Siran Keosian. The family moved to San Francisco when he was a young child. Richard was married to his loving wife Vernice Fesjian Keosian who preceded him in death in 1981. Also preceding Richard in death in 2006 were his brothers Joseph and Vahram. Richard served in the US Army as Sergeant during WWII and received the Purple Heart and Bronze Stars for heroic action during the battles in the Philippines and Okinawa. As a gifted craftsman, he enjoyed building a home in Marin Co. His talent also extended to upholstery, woodcarving and welding. Richard is survived by his younger brother Arsen, sister-in-law Bobbie, nieces Jana Keosian-Nogara (Demetrius) and Laura Keosian, nephew Vahram W. Keosian (Toni), great-nephews Dante, VJ and great-niece Nellie. Richard will be dearly missed and remembered by those who love him.
