Rita Aldrich Obituary

Rita Jean Aldrich Passed away peacefully on her 86th birthday in Sonoma Valley Hospital. Born Sept. 5, 1924 in San Francisco to Ray and Mayla Schiller. Beloved wife to the late John Aldrich. Loving mother to James Ansbro of San Francisco. Devoted sister to the late William Schiller; and to Mary Lou and Irving Blackfield of Sonoma. Adoring aunt to Scott Heidohrn, great-aunt to Christopher and Marc Heidohrn of San Francisco. A 3rd generation San Franciscan, she also resided in Fremont, Terra Linda, Sacramento, Rocklin, and Sonoma CA. Her greatest joy was the time spent with family and friends. Rita was a great fan of the Giants, 49ers, golf and reading. All are invited to a funeral mass for both Rita and John at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 17 at St. Francis Solano Church, 469 Third St. West in Sonoma. Burial services will follow at 1 p.m. in Golden Gate National Cemetery at 1300 Sneath Lane, San Bruno. For questions please call Jim Ansbro at 415-730-4249.
