Robert Cook Obituary

Robert Gordon Cook 2/4/29 - 9/24/10 Born in Detroit, Michigan, he is survived by his sisters, Sally Youngman (Dave) of Peoria, Ill., Mary Ponshock (John) of Irondequoit, New York as well as four nephews and one niece. Many friends survive Bob, especially Sally and Carl Denchasy of Oregon and numerous other friends from Martin Luther Towers of San Francisco. He will be missed by many! Mr. Cook attended Lake Forest, Ill and Michigan State University where he majored in hotel management. He served in the US Navy for four years, returned to San Francisco and worked as reservations manager at the St. Francis Hotel until he retired. Services will be held at the St. Marks Lutheran Church at 1111 O'Farrell Street, San Francisco at 11 AM on Monday, October 4th. Memorial donations may be made to "Coming Home Hospice", 115 Diamond Street, San Francisco, CA 94114. ATTN Richard Nasca, Director.
