Rosilyn White Obituary

Rosilyn Bazurto White On her birthday today, we remember Rosilyn Bazurto White, who was born on Nov. 23, 1950 and who passed away on Dec. 3, 2009. Her mother Dorothy Sherman, her brother Raymond and his family, her husband Tom, her relatives, her friends, and her colleagues, we recall with love and affection this dynamic woman who so enriched our lives. With her assertive energy and exacting standards, Rosilyn enjoyed life with gusto. A natural dancer, she starred in the Balboa High School production of "Gypsy" in 1966. With Tom, she made every meal an occasion and loved their many trips. She pursued her passions of gardening and birding with a scientific approach obtained from undergraduate studies in plant biology at CCSF and SF State University. A long-time resident of Bernal Heights, Rosilyn was often found there jogging or walking the dogs that she loved. At her various positions in retail, at Williams-Sonoma and at Eileen Fisher, she devoted her organizational skills and creativity to ensure success. We treasure the memory of her unique spirit: a perfectionist who gave her all. Happy Birthday, dear Rosilyn.
