May the peace and blessings of the lord be with the Morgan family. While it has been a number of years since I have had direct contact with Rev. Morgan, his kindness, compassion, concern, dignity and quite strength made a lasting impression on me and my life.

Hello Lee-Ellen, I am praying for you and your family. I remember when your father drove you to Long Beach for school and then again when you moved into your apartment.
Your father was a strong man. I know you will miss him. Absent from the body means present with the Lord. Tell your mother I said hello and keep trusting and depending on the Lord.

Dearest Luci (and family), I feel like I already knew your dad although I've never met him. But God has a way of connecting kindred spirits, near and far through his people. Your father was a blessing to many, as you are blessing to me. Your father was a fine anointed man; a man of wisdom, a man of God, a servant of the Lord. He lived a long and bountiful life - as I've mentioned before (and as I hope to live as well).

From reading his history indeed, God appointed your father as a prophet to the nations (Jeremiah 1:5 KJV). That's something to shout about to the heavens. And so He heard and prepared a place for him in His mansion; for your father's will is completed on earth. Your father will now sit at the right hand of Jesus and live forever watching down on you. Set your mind at rest in knowing his eyes were watching God on September 3, 2010. May your memories bring you and your family comfort until you see him again.

In peace and love, (the Comforter is with you)

My prayers go out to the Morgan family. I will miss Rev. Morgan. Geneva used to tease me because Rev. Morgan would make me nervous with his stern, but kind ways. I and my family know Rev. Morgan has been lifted up and all is well.

To the Morgan Family, Dad was like a second father to me and Fred. He was stern, but always funny and kind. I will really miss him calling me "trouble" when I walked in the door. God bless you all.

To Pastor Samuel A Morgan Senior:

Blessings In The Name of God, Jehovah I AM, The One Who Is; The Self-Existent One; And His Son Our Lord and Savor The Christ Jesus

You probably dont remember me Sir as I have only moved here from the Washington DC metropolitan area a little more than two years ago. My name is Brother LeTroy Andrews and I have been attending Union Springs MBC, which you were pastor of for so many years, about one and a half years. I have met your wife Mother Pearlie Morgan, and have worked with your daughters Luci and Shirley in the Lords house.

But this isnt about them, this is about you Sir. I just wanted to say that you are loved by a great, great many people in San Francisco and the Bay Area. I know this because no matter where Ive been in this area I carry the Lord with me, I do not hide that fact that Im Brother LeTroy, a child of the Living God, and when Iâm asked what church I attend and I say Union Springs MBC, I always hear, I would say 99% of the time if they know Union Springs, they know Pastor Samuel A. Morgan Senior. This is the reason I am making this recording Sir; I have never heard not one single word of hate, anger or hurt or anything negative associated with your name. As a matter of fact whenever I say Union Springs bright smiles appear on faces, words of warmth and love pour from the lips and all I can think is I that wish I knew this man. Well I just fell in my spirit that you should know this. That you have touched so many lives with hope and peace that when I think of you I see this great man of God. I have seen you a couple of times in church and have had the honor to offer my assistance and to sit next to you. I have never met a man like you. Ive no father figure but if I did, if I had met you I would have adopted you as my father. I think of you when I try to overcome an obstacle.

Well Sir I just wanted to let you know. This has been heavy on my spirit that you should know this. I know; I know that you are; that you are the only man that I have met that when he crosses over to met The Lord Our God that He will say to you; Well done my good and faithful servant.

May the blessing of the Lord continue to flow through you to your family and through your family, In Jesus Name.

Sincerely and lovingly,
Brother LeTroy Andrews
