Simone "Sam" John Sacco
Simone "Sam" John Sacco, 87, died on March 6, 2013 in Yountville, CA. He was a native of San Francisco and a resident of Sonoma since 1980. He was a recent resident of Yountville. Sam was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, WWII; a member of the Northern California Butchers Union Local # 115 of San Francisco; a member of the V.F.W. Post 1943; a member of SIRS Branch #41 and was the Proprietor of P and G Meat Market in San Francisco for 28 years.
He was the loving husband of the late Evelyn C. Sacco.
He is survived by his loving sons; Thomas (Karen), Michael (Kathy), Timothy (Kathy) and Patrick (Valerie) Sacco. He was the grandfather of 11; great-grandfather of 13 and was the loving brother of Stephen Sacco. Besides his wife he is also preceded in death by his sister's Annette McGillicuddy, Lena Barbara, Rose Conti and by his brother John Sacco.
Sam was a warm and loving man and he leaves behind a warm and loving family.
Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of his Life on Saturday, March 16, 2013, at 11:00 AM at Duggan's Mission Chapel, 525 West Napa Street, Sonoma, CA 95476
Private Inurnment was held at Santa Rosa Memorial Park.
