Stanley Kilcoyne Obituary

Stanley J Kilcoyne Jr. Passed away on December 25. He is preceded in death by his wife Libbie. He is survived by his son Ron; daughter in law Francine; grandchildren Andrea, Steven and Scott; and several nieces and nephews. Born May 14, 1922, he served in the Army in Europe during World War II and was a letter carrier in San Francisco for 40 years. A native of San Francisco he resided in Burlingame since 1962. In 2009 he moved to Connecticut to live with his son. An avid sports fan he lived to see his San Francisco Giants win the World Series. He was particularly adept at fixing most anything and for many years performed many of the repairs in his condo building. He loved entering sweepstakes and had amazing luck when he and Libbie visited Reno. A bad day was breaking even on the slots. Friends and family are invited to attend a rosary on Tuesday January 4 at 7 PM at Crosby N Gray Mortuary, 2 Park Road Burlingame and the funeral mass at 1 PM on Wednesday January 5, 2010 at St Catherine's Church 1310 Bayswater Avenue, Burlingame with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma. In lieu of flowers donations could be made to Habitat for Humanity.
