Theodore Eliopoulos Obituary

Theodore Eliopoulos Also known professionally as Ted Sorel, died on Tuesday, November 30 at the age of 74 at the Actors' Fund Home in Englewood, New Jersey after suffering a long illness originating from the consequences of then unnamed and untreated Lyme disease. Ted was born in San Francisco, California and graduated from the University of the Pacific. As an actor in New York and in Los Angeles he appeared in many movies as well as on television and on and off Broadway in New York. He lived in the New York area for many years in Katonah, New York and restored his grandfather's house in Kyparissi, Lakonia, Greece, the traditional home of his family for many generations. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Coslow Eliopoulos; his son, Dr. Vassily Eliopoulos of Brooklyn, New York; his daughter, Mariamne Eliopoulos of Strasbourg, France; and his granddaughter, Ilaria Jana Eliopoulos.
