A native of San Francisco, and longtime resident of Marin County passed away peacefully at home January 22nd at the age of 90. Bill's adoring wife Pilar, preceded him in death. Bill was a WWII Navy veteran serving in the Pacific Theatre. He was the Executive Assistant to the President of Western Pacific Railroad for many years. Bill will be remembered for his gentle and caring manner, and his gracious style. He is survived by his beloved sister, Alma I Bru (Robert), his nephew John Bru (Claudia), his niece Lori Baxter (Brent), niece Terri Restelli-Deitz (Rob), and grand nephews and nieces, Shane, Alicia, Alexander, and Emily. Zio will also be dearly missed by his extended family the Flannery's, Keleher's, John's and Fenner's & Howard Trofsky (Scott). Bill was blessed to have many dear friends, from both near and far, all of whom he loved dearly.
