Mr. Cooper was very kind to let me interview him, less than a year before he passed away, about his famous father. The memory of his that sticks in my mind was the one of him visiting the White House as a child and meeting the President Calvin Coolidge. He said the President was kind to him. I posted most of my class report on Wikipedia, creating the entry for his father on Wikipedia. Another thing I remember is that Mr. Cooper's son gave him a schedule of cruise ships coming into the San Francisco Bay and he used to enjoy sitting in his kitchen, I think, watching them come in.
