Was recalling Mr. Galin this evening while reminiscing in general w/a friend. Mr. G. was my professor in a playwriting course ca.1990 at Bklyn. College. He had a limit on the number of plays required but no limit on the number of plays we wrote and submitted. And he'd continually "throw out" the submissions with the lowest grades, both motivating us to hone our skills more and to continually kindle hopes of achieving an "A" for the course; it was a very decent and wise way to nurture enthusiasm and learning. Fond memories and part of my early middle age's quest to at long last earn my plain vanilla B.A. Thank you sir, and R.I.P.
