Elizabeth M. Archer Sept. 4, 1932 - Aug. 12, 2011 In New York City - Dearly beloved daughter of the late Edward J. and Mary E. Archer; beloved sister of Joseph E. Archer and the late Carmel Jones and Sister Maria Jose, M.M.; also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends from New Yorks' art and crafts community. Special thanks to her cousins in New York, Annie Gibeau and Molly Gibeau-Griffin for their care and friendship. A native of San Francisco, graduate of St. Philip's, St. Brigid's Academy, UC Berkeley and Immaculate Heart College in Los Angeles with a Bachelor in Fine Arts. She worked at Randall Museum before moving to New York in 1962. Retired as a senior administrator from the New York City Housing Authority. Friends may call on Sunday after 2:00 p.m. and are invited to attend the Vigil at 4:00 pm and the Funeral on Monday, 9:30 a.m. at DUGGAN'S FUNERAL SERVICE, 3434 17th Street, nr Valencia, thence to St. Philip the Apostle Church, Diamond and Elizabeth Streets, where the Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Committal Holy Cross Cemetery.
