Elsie Louise Schenone

Oct. 7, 1922 -  Mar. 13, 2014

Resident of Colma

Elsie Louise Schenone , age 91, passed away peacefully on Thursday March 13th.

Elsie was born on October 7, 1922 to John and Susie Olcese.  Elsie had two beloved siblings John Olcese and Mary Beroldo.

Elsie lived all of her 91 years in Colma.  That is where she met the love of her life George Schenone. George and Elsie were married for over 40 years.  They loved to travel, dine out and spend time with family. George passed away in 1995.

Elsie loved her family wholeheartedly and her life revolved around her family. Everything she did was for their benefit and welfare.

Elsie and George had two daughters Linda Hall and Janet Bildhauer. She also has four beautiful grandchildren; Jessica Medeiros, Michelle Bildhauer, Gregory Bildhauer and Grant Hall. Elsie is also survived by two son in laws-Tom Bildhauer and Randy Riley.

Elsie loved being with her family and was so happy last October to attend her granddaughter Jessica's wedding to Christopher Medeiros.  Elsie, as always, looked beautiful that day.

Elsie was so blessed to have the devotion and love of her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Richard and Nancy Schenone.

Elsie also had a wonderful caregiver for many years, Sara Howard.

Elsie, all your family and friends truly loved you.  You will be forever missed and no one can take your place in our hearts.

Visitation for family and friends will begin at 4 p.m. and a Vigil/Rosary will be held at Duggans Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave., Daly City, at 7pm on Tuesday March 18th.  The Funeral Service will be Wednesday March 19th 10:30 am at Duggans Serra Mortuary, followed by the Committal at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 1500 Old Mission Road, Colma.
