Leslie Scott Jr.
Born on March 16, 1939, in New Orleans, Louisiana the fourth child of the late Leslie Scott Sr. and Elizabeth Bell Scott. After graduating from McKinley High School in May, 1957, Leslie began his ascension into adulthood by joining the United States Army and was immediately stationed at the Fort Chaffee United States Army Training Center, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Leslie went on to have an illustrious nine year career in the Army which took him to offshore locations such as Germany and France.
Three years later while home on leave, Leslie had the honor and privilege of marrying the apple of his eye the late Ms. Pearl Stewart on February 20, 1960. Leslie and his family then relocated to San Francisco, California in 1964. After being honorably discharged from the Armed Services Leslie went on to begin his second career with the Khan and Keville Tire and Automotive Service Company until his retirement in 2004.
Leslie will be remembered as a devoted son, a loving husband, an exceptional father, a wonderful grandfather, and a best friend to his brother and three sisters as well as to a host of family and friends. Leslie was full of life, possessed a quick wit that was infused with a great sense of humor, and was respected by all who knew him.
