NoronaIn South San Francisco, at age 82, unexpectedly of cardiovascular and respiratory complications and peacefully entered into eternal life on June 8, 2014. Born in Mangaldan, Pangasinan, Phil. Beloved wife of the late Wilfredo Norona; loving and devoted mother of Wilma Norona, Marilou Tarape, Raymond Norona and Winifreda Panopio. Adoring grandmother of Raymond Jr. and Roland Norona, Phillip and Daryl Panopio, and Matthew Tarape. Survived by her dear sisters Nimia Visperas, Caridad Cruz, Felicidad Bernardo, and Filipina Cuison; brothers Leonardo and Jose Soriano. Respected mother-in-law of Carol Norona, Giovanni Panopio, and Marlon Tarape. Also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, and cousins, both in the U.S. and Phil. She was a Philippine dentist with her husband at the Federal Employees Cooperative Health Org. (FECHO), who came to the U.S. in 1969 and became employed by Mt. Zion Hospital in the Dept. of Nursing in S.F. for 24 years. Member of the Legion of Mary at the OLPH Church in D.C.
Friends may visit Sat. & Sun., June 14thand 15th, after 3PM and are invited to attend the Vigil, Sun., 5PM at DUGGAN'S SERRA MORTUARY, 500 Westlake Ave.,Daly City and to the Funeral Mass, June 16th, 10 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 60 Wellington Ave. Daly City. Committal Holy Cross Cemetery.
