Francis J. Harrison

November 21, 1925 - August 7, 2014

Frank was born in New Bedford, MA and graduated from the beautiful Fairhaven High School joining the US Navy at 17yrs old. In WWII he was in active duty 1942 - 1946 in the Pacific Theatre. Graduated next from Valparaiso Technical Institute, Indiana. Travel out west with friends in his Chevy seeking employment at United Airlines 1950 - 1990, proudly as an R&E Mechanic. Married Jean A. Johnson on August 4, 1956, having 5 children and 9 grandchildren. His happiest moments were with family, and he was immensely proud of all his children and grandchildren. Avid lover of sailing, airplanes, photography, reading of everything especially history and politics. Love of classical and Irish music. In lieu of flowers please donate to St. Francis of Assisi Youth Club, 1425 Bay Rd, EPA, CA 94303 or OLMC School 301 Grand St, RWC, CA 94062. Rosary August 13, 2014 at 7:30pm at Crippen & Flynn, RWC, CA 94061 & Funeral Mass August 14, 2014 at 10:30am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 300 Fulton St, RWC. Burial to follow at Holy Cross, Menlo Park. Reception to follow at Harrison family home.
