Manuel Felipe Tumaneng, M. D. Jan. 25, 1927 - Dec. 10, 2009 Dr. Manuel Tumaneng was born and raised in Laoag City, Philippines and passed peacefully in his sleep on December 10, 2009. Survived by Melissa Tumaneng and wife Glenyse Henschel; son Manuel Tumaneng, Jr. and wife Annabelle Tumaneng; grandchildren Isabella and Nicolas Tumaneng. Dr. Tumaneng earned his medical degree in 1953 from the University of Santo Tomas where he met his wife of over fifty years, the late Dr. Lolita Tandoc Tumaneng. He continued his post-graduate studies at the University of Chicago and became a Board Certified Anesthesiologist, practicing medicine in the Chicago area for more than thirty-five years before retiring in Northern California. Friends and family are invited to the viewing, to be held on Tuesday, December 15, and Wednesday, December 16, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the Holy Angels Funeral and Cremation Center, 2540 Church Lane, San Pablo, CA.
