Patrick Paul Campos
Oct. 28, 1949 - Aug. 31, 2012
A loving husband, father, son, brother and friend to many, Patrick Campos passed away unexpectedly on August 31, 2012.
Born in Chico, CA, Pat grew up in Union City. He attended Logan High School where he was very active in sports. He also attended Cal Poly, before returning to the Bay Area where he met his wife of 36 years, Susan.
Pat's gift for persuasion served him well over his successful career in sales, having spent the last 25 years at Oxford Instruments. Pat was passionate about politics, travel, music, art, and sports cars. He served on San Francisco Waldorf School board, and as Boy Scout leader for Troop 88. He was a principal owner of Pacific Heights Travel and loved to take adventures with Susan, and their son Clay.
Pat was loving and caring to everyone he ever met, while always managing to please and entertain them with his "larger than life" personality. Ask around, and people will tell you that when Pat was in the room there was nary an empty wineglass nor a silence to be filled. Patrick will be greatly missed, but never far from hearts.
Pat is survived by his wife Susan, son Clay, parents Roland and Florence, mother-in-law Marcie Doherty, brothers Mike (Nancy), CJ (Lynne), and Jeff (Tonya), and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends interested in attending Patrick's celebration of life on September 16th should call Susan Campos at (415) 587-4556 for details.
