Milan "Mike" Popovich
88, died November 17, 2012 surrounded by family in Sonoma, California.
Mr. Popovich was born Oct 5, 1924 in Yugoslavia to Petar and Ilinka Popovich, before immigrating to the United States at the age of 11 to live with his aunt and uncle in Michigan.
Mr. Popovich is a veteran of World War II, and spent his
career working at General Motors, retiring as an estimator after decades of loyal work. He patiently pursued the affections of Mildred Vukmirovich, who became his wife in 1953.
