Dear Family Eisenhardt,

Cathryn and I were faculty colleagues when Newark State College (now Kean University) was a small and rapidly growing institution in Union. We helped create the elementary education program for prospective teachers. Additionally, we helped to design a Campus School to serve the neighborhood children.

Besides her academic collaborations, I remember her sincerity, gentleness, and kindness. I am honored to have known her.

My sincere condolences on your loss.
