Emily Rogers Tiedemann

Emily Le Compte (Rogers) Tiedemann passed away peacefully at home in San Francisco at age 98.
Emily was born in San Francisco to Dr. Nathan Rogers, Sr. and Maria de la Luz Luisa Urtuzuastegui.
She is predeceased by her husband, of 51 years, Harold Keith Tiedemann and her brother, Dr. Nathan Rogers, Jr.
She is survived by her brother, William H. Rogers, and nieces and nephews: Ann (Rogers) Brant, James Rogers, Craig Rogers, Glenn Rogers, W. Phillip Rogers and William Rogers, Marc Rogers, Peter Rogers, Mary (Rogers) Dunahugh and many grand nieces and nephews.
Emily attended Grant Elementary School (S.F.), The Hamlin School ('33), Stanford University (B.A. in Art History), and the Ansel Adams School of Photography.
She was a former member of: Hamlin Alumnae (Emeritus Trustee), The Francisca Club, San Francisco Garden Club, Daughters of the American Revolution, Colonial Dames, Huguenot Society, Golden Gate Collectors, and California Historical Society.
Emily enjoyed photography, painting, and travel.
She will always be remembered for her warm smile, keen sense of humor and her wonderful stories.
