Robert Hamer Obituary
Robert C. Hamer, IV

Robert C. Hamer IV, Rob, left this life far too soon on December 17, 2013.  Rob was born on November 13, 1984, in Marin County where he lived most of this life.  Recently, he moved to the LA area, enjoying daily walks to the beach and successfully growing orchids where only bare ground was before. His smile will live in our hearts and minds forever.

Rob's impressive intellect and keen sense of humor brought joy to friends and family, while his kindness drew people to him.  His passions ranged from the entertainment sector to technology, and he pursued both, working for several years in advanced information technology as a Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) as well as in the film industry.  He was proud of his work on the Oscar-winning movie, Crash, and loved living in LA as part of the entertainment scene.

Rob is dearly missed by his parents: Diane Lukas, Robert C. Hamer III, and Jill Hamer; and his siblings: Dillon Hamer, Kyle Hamer, Chris Stoafer, and Marissa Tardy, as well as his extended family of grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.  A small, private ceremony to honor Rob's life was held by his family in Tiburon.  An additional memorial will be held later in the LA area to include his LA friends and family.  The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Hunters Point Family, in Memory of Rob Hamer, mailed to 1800 Oakdale Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94124, http://hunterspointfamily.org/get-involved/.
