Isabel M. Lopez

Isabel came to SF to study English & met "her Bill" on Easter Sunday in 1957. They married several months later on Dec. 26 of that same year.
Beloved wife of the late William Lopez.
Isabel is survived by her two children, William Gerard Lopez & Maria Carmen Lopez & her two "grand dogs" Eddie & Arielle.
Isabel taught Spanish Classes at St. Stephen's in the early 70's, was on the women's guild, altar society & was a Eucharist Minister at St. Stephen's and also at St. Ignatius Church in SF. She was a lifetime member of Loyola Guild. She worked at Bank of America in Stonestown for 12 yrs. before retiring & then was asked to come back to work for 4 more years. After retiring again, she joined Doelger Senior Center with her husband. She loved attending the Tuesday morning knitting class & having lunch with friends in the dining room. Always very helpful, she became a volunteer in the dining room helping clear the lunch dishes. She will be greatly missed!
Friends and family may visit Sunday, Jan 5th, from 4- 9 pm and are invited to Vigil Service at 7pm at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave., Daly City. A Funeral Mass on Monday, 11 am Jan.6th at St. Stephen Church, 601 Eucalyptus Dr. SF. Committal Holy Cross Cemetery.
