William "Bill" Bobzien Of Marin County passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on March 28, 2006. Dearly beloved husband of 52 years to Carmen Bobzien. Loving father of Gary and his wife Kim, Steven and his wife Susan of Napa, Russell of San Rafael, David of Corte Madera, and Chris Bobzien of San Rafael. Devoted grandfather of Rebecca, Connor, Darwin and Sterling Bobzien. Cherished uncle of Lori Bequette of Murrieta, CA, Leslie DeVita, Lisa Bobzien of New Jersey, Phyllis Lemonds of Ohio and Richard Robinson of Nebraska. Dear brother-in-law of Lee Bobzien of Sun City, CA. Bill is predeceased by his sister Edith Bobzien (1937) and brother, Burton Bobzien (2002). Bill was a gifted craftsman, creating wood carvings of whales, dolphins, and sailing ships, also his garden of orchids, daffodils and fruit trees. His love for living things included all animals especially his late Keeshond "Shelty." A longtime member of S.I.R.S., and the retirement club of the Federal Reserve Bank of SF. Bill enlisted in the Merchant Marines during WWII and served as the cook on the S.S. Walter Camp, S.S. Manulani, Lilian Wald, and worked his way up to chief cook on the S.S. Sea Skimmer. Bill loved his family, grandchildren, and his home. He will be sorely missed by ALL who knew and loved him. A celebration of Bill's life will be held at Mt.
