Karen Eileen Mason
Karen passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Sat. April 21, 2012.
She was 67.Karen was born in Detroit Michigan on May 20,1944.She is survived by her loved one Steve Hecox ,Mother ,Hilda " Granny" Phillips, Sister, Dianne Carrillo( John)and family, Nieces, Audrey and Gloria and their families, and brother, Harald. Sons, Michael McCracken (Carol) and family, James McCracken (Anita) and family, Daniel Dyer (Jenna) and Daughter Shannon Palafox. She had 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. Karen was a resident of San Bernardino for over 60 years and retired a successful business woman within the Mortgage community. She enjoyed her place in Mexico and her social calendar was always full. Karen had touched the lives of so many people.
She will be missed tremendously and never forgotten. She had a loving effect on all who she came in contact with. She was as strong as she was beautiful. SWW
Services will be held May 4, at 1:00 at Montecito Memorial Park at 3520 E. Washington St. Colton Ca.

I'm missing you daily,as we always would converse and you would encourage me to keep everything in perspective and don't take life too seriously.You would be so proud how your family stayed strong. Be confident mom, you raised a very strong and resourcefull family. This was done because Granny set the bar very high.
