Hazel Marie Clark
Was born in Burkesville, KY to Leon and Ada Curtis. Upon graduating from high school she went to Business College in Louisville, KY. After WWII broke out she took a job in a plant, making parts for airplanes. In 1943 she joined the Navy (WAVES). She was honorably discharged in 1946. She lived in Louisville until moving to San Bernardino in 1958. She belonged to the Emblem Club and Shrine Widows Club.
She was preceded in death by one daughter Diana Lynn. She is survived by her loving companion Hal Owen, one daughter Lora Marie and husband Monte Starr, her grandson Tyler Starr and wife Cari, her sister Sallie Margaret Nance, nieces and nephews.
Hazel will be laid to rest at Riverside National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Hazel's memory to the Shrine Children's Hospitals.
