Louise M. Pewsey
October 1, 1924 - May 20, 2013
Louise Pewsey (nee Groesbeck) passed away peacefully May 20, 2013 at the age of 87. Louise was a 40-year
resident of Altadena and co-owner of Amos Dance Studio and Pewsey's Dance Supplies in San Gabriel. After the death of her husband, Norman, in 1985, she moved to Alta Loma and continued teaching dance, most recently at the Gibson Sr. Center in Upland. A celebration of Louise's life will be held Saturday, June 29 at 11:00 am First Presbyterian Church, 869 N Euclid Ave. Upland, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

IM SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT MRS PEWSEY'S PASSING. HER SON JIM AND I WERE BEST FRIENDS WHEN WE LIVED BY HIS FAMILY IN ALTADENA DURING THE EARLY SIXTIES. I DIDNT SEE HER AGAIN TIL 2003. WE ALL WENT FOR DINNER AND HAD A GREAT TIME. WARREN MARTINEZ

To the family of Louise, I am saddened by your loss. My mom, Mary Mooney, enjoyed her classes she taught at the Upland Gibson Center for many years. Louise truly touched the lives of many in a positive way. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
