Jim Stivers passed away from complications of COPD after a short stay at Huntington Hospital. He is survived by his wife Louise, his mother, Jean, brother Dave (Karla), and sister Kathleen Schmutz (Milt). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his father James N. Stivers, Jr. Jim served as a Naval Officer during the Vietnam War. He was an active member of the Tournament of Roses for 25 years and enjoyed many treks with e clampus vitus. He worked in the family business, Stivers & Company. Jim will be long remembered by family and friends for his sense of humor and easygoing spirit.

Arrangements are being made for a Celebration of Life.
