Judith Andrea JOHNSTON

JOHNSTON, Judith Andrea

Judith Andrea Johnston, 63, of Monrovia California, passed away after a long battle with cancer, on Friday December 6, 2013, to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She was born on June 6, 1950, the third child and only daughter of Kenneth and Ester Johnston of Monrovia,
California.
Judith graduated from Baxter-Anoakia High School in Arcadia CA in 1968. While at Baxter-Anoakia she excelled at sports, winning the Father-Daughter Tennis Tournament in 1968.
She earned an Associate of Arts Degree in Dental Technology from Pasadena City College in 1970. At her first employer, Unitek Corp., of Duarte CA, she specialized in crafting dental appliances and prosthetics, and met Mr. Gabriel Bontempo who would soon become her business partner and long-time beloved friend. They established Classic Arts Ceramic Studio in Montclair, CA, serving the Southern California dental community with the highest quality dental lab work and products for many years.
Although she was married only briefly, she had no children. Her "real children" were her beloved pets, a loyal Rottweiler named "James" and a long list of "rescue" cats and kittens. In lieu of a Memorial Service, she requested that donations in any amount be made to local animal humane associations and animal rescue groups.
Judith is survived by her two older brothers, Michael Johnston (69) of Apple Valley, CA and Gerald Johnston (65) of Reno NV, as well as a niece Mrs. Robyn Johnston Rosello of Apple Valley, CA
