Patrick Joseph Carroll
71, of San Bernardino, CA entered eternal life on March 30, 2014. He served honorably in the United States Marine Corps and retired as a MSGT after 22 years. He served with honor and valor in Vietnam and was awarded two Purple Hearts and the Bronze Medal of Valor. He also worked as Director of Service Programs and Legislative Director for the Disabled American Veterans for the State of California for 14 years. He did volunteer and consultant work, doing military claims for veterans, especially at the Jerry L Pettis Veteran's Medical Center for many years and was responsible for the Disabled American Veterans' Magazine.
A Christian man, he is survived by Bernice Carroll, his wife of 52 years. Also surviving him are his three daughters Denise (Neal) Hall, Paige (Malcolm) Carroll and Sheri (John) Flade, his granddaughters Kristen (Michael) Maloney and Jessica Hall, his two brothers, Mike Carroll and Sam Petracca.
A Committal Service with full military honors will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 1:45 p.m. at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside CA 92518.
