Sigismund Paul Baran

Sigismund Paul Baran died on April 9, 2014, in the city of Covina. He was a Polish immigrant who came over with his 2 sisters, Alice & Wanda. He grew up in an orphanage in Chicago. He became a US Citizen and joined the Army at the age of 18, when he left the Army in 1957 -he came to California with his wife Joyce, and started work at Times Mirror Press. He raised 5 children, Gayle, Teresa, Catherine, Victoria, and Paul. His hobbies were jewelry making, cooking, and fishing.
He is survived by his sisters, ex-wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren who loved him and will miss him dearly.
