Wayne Skaug

WAYNE CARL SKAUG
August 4, 1932 – May 6, 2013

Wayne passed away after a long illness.

Wayne was a machinist for 43 years. He retired from L.A. Trade Tech College. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and always involved his family. He belonged to La Crescenta and the Gopher Flats Gun Clubs. He shot Trap, collecting many trophies. He hunted Utah, but his love was Rock House Basin on the Kern River. In his later years, his hobby was repairing shotgun reloaders.

He was adored by his wife and children and returned their love every day. He is survived by his wife, Terrie, of 60 years; his children, Wayne A. Skaug , Renee Onori (Robert), Karen Martinez (Donald) and Lauren Hook (Ronald).There are 12 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, his brother, Sidney Skaug; and his sister, Shirley Peterson.

Burial at Eternal Valley Memorial Park, 23287 Sierra Hwy., Newhall, CA 91321. Viewing Tuesday, May 14th, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Services Wednesday, May 15th, 2:00 p.m. Reception following on site.
