KATHRYN KAISER "KAY" CAREY

56, of Upland passed away September 9th at Pomona Valley Hospital in Pomona, CA. She was born on July 29, 1954 in Norco, CA and lived in Upland for 17 years. She graduated from Chaffey High School ('72) and Chaffey College ('74) in correctional science. Worked as a correction officer and counselor at LeRoy's Boys Home before becoming the best mom in the world. Happily married to Doug for 32 years. Kay made friends wherever she went and always went out of her way to help people, even from a hospital bed. We will love you always and forever Mom. Kay is survived by her husband Doug Carey, daughter Jennifer Redelle Carey and brother Bruce Joseph Kaiser. She is preceded in death by her father Frank J. Kaiser and mother Eleanor Orbeck Kaiser. A visitation will be held on Sept. 22 at 1PM at Richardson Peterson Funeral Home, 123 W. G St., Ontario. Graveside services will immediately follow at Bellevue Memorial Park, 1240 W. G St., Ontario.
