HOWARD COX Obituary

Born April 15, 1958 to Gene and Betty Cox. Howard was born into a family of railroaders, a tradition he picked up at age 18. Beginning with Southern Pacific Lines, he devoted his life and worked hard to move up. Eventually finding himself doing what he loved with the Metrolink as a highly respected project manager and engineering designer. He also found time to be a loving and honorable father and husband. He survived by his adoring wife, Lynn and his four proud children: David (28), Heather (25) and her husband Steven, Christopher (20) and his wife Brittney, and Kyle (16). He also leaves behind his grandson Lucius. He will be fondly remembered by his mother Betty, his brother, and two sisters. It is with warm, yet heavy hearts that we say goodbye to a man who, like his father before him, enriched the lives of those privileged to know him. We lovingly hope he finds a quiet place in heaven to grow his garden, do some fishing, build what he will, and watch over us with his kind eyes and smile. Services will be held at Todd Memorial Chapel in Pomona.

As the mother of Buddy's children, I wept for there loss. I cried for him!
Even though I didn't get to see him before he died I kept close tabs on how he was. I know he is "a happy camper " now.
