RODOLFO S. "BOB" FLORES

of Pomona, passed into eternity on September 6, 2010. He was born on September 12, 1926 in Amarillo, Texas. Bob lived in Pomona for 29 years. Before embarking on a 47 year career in education, he served in the U.S. Merchant Marines. He was a school principal for 21 years in the Pomona Unified School District. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Carmen, and their five children, Evangelina Williams (Bruce); Victoria Williams (Scott); Robert Flores (Debra); Mario Flores; David Flores (Aileen); 7 grandchildren, Aaron (Cindy), Alysia, Clint (Jamie), Aprille (Mike), Marissa, Ashley, Shelby and 2 great-grandchildren, Sienna and Nolan. Visitation will be Monday, September 13, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Todd Memorial Chapel, Pomona, CA. Rosary to follow. Funeral mass will be on Tuesday, September 14, 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Pomona, CA. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Pomona, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Michale J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research in memory of Rodolfo Flores.
