I am very pleased that I had a chance to get to know Donald. He was a gentleman through and through. I especially enjoyed how close he was with his son Don. It always made me feel good to see both of them together when Don was working on one of his propeties.

I remember I would go pretty much every weekend to visit my Grandma and Grandpa. And no matter what, every Sunday we would go down to the donut shop and I would get a donut and grandpa would get his newspaper and coffee. We'd come back sit on the porch and he'd give me the comics and he'd read the rest of the paper. Thats a memory I will cherish forever. Things I also remember: he'd let us wear his white t-shirts to bed. He loved pecan pie. If we went for pizza at least half had to have pineapples on it. He said things like boob-tube and SRT and only a few people know what that means :). I know he loved us and was a great man. He will truly and greatly be missed, but never forgotten. I love you grandpa!
