Tinker was born September 2, 1949 in Los Angeles, California. He passed away Friday, October 15, 2010, in Pacoima, California, at the age of 61. He was at home, with his family at his side.

After serving in the United States Navy on the USS Goldsborough, he went into the furniture moving business in the steps of his father, for the next 30 years. Tinker is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jeanie; his two children, Beto and Donna Rae; his daughter-in-law, Angie; his two
grandchildren, Rebeca and Frankie; two sisters, Yolanda and Esther; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, October 20, 2010, 1:30 p.m., at San Fernando Mission Church.
