ARLINE MARQUARDT Obituary

went to be with the Lord on Wednesday September 29th. She dies at home with her family. She was born in Cleveland Ohio on April 22, 1096. She moved to Lakewood Ohio in 1924. She married Elroy Marquardt in 1930 and they had two children Carol and Shirley. Elroy died in 1988 and in 1998 Arline and Shirley moved to California. Arline had two grandchildren Kathy & Dan and six great-grandchildren Chris, Jason, Shawn (Jackie), Carrie, Michael, (Kristen) & David. She also had one great great grandchild Gavin. She was an active member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Rancho Cucamonga. She made people laugh with her story telling and was a prefect example of a fine Christian woman buy the way she lived her life. In lieu of flowers donations can be given to Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church or VNA Hospice of Southern California.

I had the honor of attending a lip reading class held in Upland where Arline and her daughter attended. In 2009, I had the honor of being there to celebrate Arline's 103rd birthday. She was a wonderful person, and I immensely enjoyed her joke at the end of our classes.
