Passed away April 17, 2013 surrounded by her loving family by her side.

"Yoya" as she was known, was born April 8, 1927 to Felix and Maria Castellanos in Ocotlan, Jalisco, Mexico. She is survived by her son, Fr. Michael Rocha of St. Marks Church, Venice, and daughter, Terri Bricker (Gary) of West Hills; three loving grandchildren, Andrea Rocha, Danny and Jordan Bricker; and one great-grandchild, Oceana. She is also survived by her sisters, Velia Olivares and Bertha Adame (Manuel); sister-in-law, Esperanza Castellanos; and many loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Rocha; and her son, David Rocha.

She was an amazing woman who lived life to the fullest. She traveled the world, loved her family, friends, her church, and most of all her precious grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, April 22, 2013, 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 18400 Kinzie St., Northridge, CA 91325. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to either The or to M.E.N.D. Program.
