The only way that I can explain the hurt that I'm feeling now is the way I felt when a loved one of mine moved away. The only difference is that I could still talked with them. I can't pick up the phone and have it answered on the other end.

Dear Family Members:
I saw in the Tribune that Carmina McAlpin had passed away and I vividly remember Carmina when we both worked at ICN Pharmaceuticals, Inc., in Covina back in 1981-1984. She was such a beautiful girl, with a heart of gold. She taught me a lot on the job as I was new to working in an office. Her picture looked familar to me so I read the article closely. The only way I was able to tell if it was Carmina Costin is because her daughter's name was listed as Rose Costin and I remember that she had a daughter, but did not remember her name. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I will remember her always.
