Cecilia Quinones Obituary

Cecilia "Ceci" Quinones Cecilia "Ceci" Quinones, age 85, slipped gently into the arms of her loving Father, our Savior, on September 6, 2010. Cecilia of Long Beach, CA, is survived by her granddaughters, Paola Quinones and Fadia Knight. A special thank you goes to her caregivers and loving family: Carmen de Leon, Kira Quinones, Ligia Ashook, and Elvia Barbosa. Ceci was an extremely gregarious and loving person, and always enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Ceci wanted us to rejoice in her life and not mourn her passing. A Rosary will take place on September 14, 2010 at 6:30 pm at All Souls Mortuary with the viewing being held from 3 to 8 pm. Her funeral will take place September 15, 2010 at 9 am followed by a joyful celebration in which breakfast will be served. Grandma Ceci, you taught us so many wonderful life lessons. Most importantly you taught us how to live. We love you and will miss you. All Souls Mortuary (562) 424-8601 www.allsoulsmortuary.com

It's been a month since you left us. I will miss you always Grandma, but I know you're happy and at peace now.

Dear sweet Tia Ceci:
Our family was so blessed to have had you in our lives for 50+ years and always enjoyed spending time with you at family gatherings, especially with your wonderful son, Gilbert and husband Alfonso. We know you are with them both now and we think about all three of you all the time. I remember you dancing with Uncle Joe at David's birthday party and remember how beautiful you looked. I always loved talking to you and will miss that so much. My family, your nephew Ley, my daughters, Jessica, Jenna and Jaclyn and myself, Patti will keep you in our hearts forever. We love you.
