I have known Debbie for a brief couple years.. as her Office Manager. Not to far after she was diagnosed. . Debbie.. was an extraordinary women..There is much to say about her life.. her character and her strength.. Even towards then when everyone else was hanging on.. Debbie had such grace and faith during all of this. She is remarkable..She loved her family and she loved her work. The office ..Colavin.. was unlike any place i have ever worked at. It felt like a saragote family.. and to me she was always the sister I never had.. we had much in common, She was intelligent and had such a zest for her life.. Her joy was her children.. and grandbabies.. and her husband Mike for which I know she worried for.. but more so would miss those golden years when she passed.. Nick.. She was so proud of you Just sad that she would not be there when you were married one day.. but I believe she will be watching over all of her family, and Melissa you were the mother she wished she was.. she admired you so.. your patience.. And Colavin.. the company she ran..and the people she cared about.. a virtuous women.. There are no words.. Since I have heard of her passing.. there has been sadness and even a more stronger remembrance of her many times throughout my day. Debbie always gave sound, practical compassionate advice.. She made you think before you leaped... and the mornings. always toasting that wheat toast and eating that healthy salad.. everyday .We called her the bionic women.. Because nothing kept her down.. and when something did limit her capacity physically.. We knew Debbie would not rest and come right back into work.. She lived a healthy life and loved her gym.. about her Fan that she took to the gym (Just remembering all the little things) the . the many stories there..Tis true I feel I have known some of debbies friends and acquaintances without even meeting them. I felt I even was looking forward to the stories. It was easy being who you were around her..She cared for everyone around her.. always on her feet.. I never met anyone her age and with so much vitality and drive.. she was one in a million. She was a phenomenal women. We all loved her at colavin Julio, Pam, Jim, James, Deann, Brandon, Jason. She made Holidays so festive.. work you got excited just thinking about Christmas .. It was the best time of the year..I miss her alot.. and though I was unable to attend the funeral because I live in europe.. My hearts , my thoughts, my prayers and my condolences are with the family.. Debbie was there for me not just as a boss but as a true friend.. She impacted lives she came in touch with. she had a beauty in her spirit..She is missed.. But More so.. remembered..

Losing Debbie has left a huge hole in my heart. I think about her every day, and always will. I met her 30 years ago, when Melissa was 3, and Nick was 1. She always made me feel like I was truly one of her sisters. I could always make her laugh over the silliest things. She never forgot my kids on their birthdays. I was blessed to have her in my life. Mike, Melissa, Nick, Rosemary, Cindy, and Kathy, I am so sorry.

DEBBIE WAS A FRIEND FROM THE GYM. WE SPENT OUR MORNINGS TALKING ABOUT LIFE, WORK. AND FAMILY. SHE TALKED ABOUT YOU ALL. I FEEL AS IF I'VE MET YOU. SHE WORRIED ABOUT YOU TAKING CARE OF YOURSELF MICHAEL SO AS YOU GO ON REMEMBER TO DO IT AND THINK OF HER WITH A " HONEY OK SMILE". SHE WAS HAPPY THAT NICK FOUND A NICHE, BUT I'M SURE SHE FELT CHEATED OUT OF SEEING HIM SETTLED AS SHE CALLED IT. SHE WAS SO PROUD OF YOU MELISSA AND YOUR MATTY FOR MAKING THOSE GORGEOUS GRANDBABIES. DEBBIE WAS A DOER AS YOU WILL MISS HER IN THE BUSINESS AND FAMILY LIFE..SHE WAS INTERESTED IN ALL OF YOU ,SISTERS SISTERS IN LAW BROTHERS INLAW MOM UNCLE AND EVEN US HER GYM BUDDIES. WE HAVE MISSED HER THESE PAST MONTHS BUT WILL ALWAYS HAVE THE MEMORY OF HER IN OUR LIVES TOO SO HOW LUCKY YOU ALL ARE TO HAVE SO MANY MORE MEMORIES TO EASE HER PASSING ON. MY DEEPEST CONDOLENCE TO ALL HER ESTEEMED FAMILY. PETRA SAIZ
