Edward Federoff Obituary

JAN 13, 1923 - OCT 19, 2010 Edward Federoff, 87, formerly of S. Greco Drive, Sugarloaf, Pennsylvania, passed away Tuesday evening in West Hills, California, where he had lived for the past five years. Born in Chester, Pennsylvania, on January 13, 1923, he was the son of the late Martin and Anna (Misturak) Federoff. He resided in California for the past five years after moving from the Hazleton area. He had also lived in Brookhaven, Pennsylvania, and Bayville, New Jersey. Prior to retiring, he was employed as a draftsman for Naval Air Engineering, Philadelphia and later Lakehurst, New Jersey, for over 30 years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in WWII. He was also a member of Conyngham U.M. Church, Conyngham. Edward was an avid sportsman, and loved skiing, golfing, and fishing. He was preceded in death in addition to his parents by his wife, Helen (Grissom) Federoff, who passed away November 29, 1999. Surviving are two sons, Edward M. Federoff of West Hills, and Tom Kelly of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Kim Knapp and Chad Kelly; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Kate Gentile, Pensacola, Florida. His funeral will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the Harman Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc. (East) 669 W. Butler Drive, Drums, with his pastor, the Reverend Lorelei Toombs officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
