FERNANDO GASCA Obituary

Age 83, passed away September 12, 2010, with his family by his side in Los Angeles, California. He was born April 25, 1927 in San Fernando, California to Aurelio and Maria Gasca. From July 1945 to March 1947 he served in Yokohama, Japan as a member of the United States Army. A lover of sports and socializing, he loved his Friday night boxing and his Saturday night dancing. However, no matter where he was, he always sherply dressed. Above all, his greatest love was for his family. Some of his last words were that he considered hinself a "rich man" to have been surrounded by a family who loved him. Mr Gasca is survived by 7 sisters, 11 children, 31 grand children, and 6 great grandchildren. A viewing is planned for Thursday at 5-9am at Mission Hills Catholic Mortuary Chapel. A mass will be held Friday at 10:30am at Santa Rosa Catholic Church followed by interment services at San Fernando Mission Cemetery. Directors 818-361-7387
