FLOYD MATTESON Obituary

FLOYD HARVEY MATTESON July 6, 1935 - Dec. 22, 2010. He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd; mother, Martha, and brother, Bill. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Judy; and children, Steve, Jerry, John, Dan, and Vicki; and granddaughter, Sarah; also his brothers, Luke, Byron, John, Maurice; and sister, Donna; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He had many friends, especially his poker buddies, you know who you are. Please come help us celebrate Dad's life on Wed., Dec. 29th at 11:00 A.M. at St. Adelaide Church at 27457 East Baseline St. in Highland. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Charter Hospice, 1012 East Cooley Drive, Suite G, Colton, CA 92324.

My heart goes out to the Matteson family during this time of loss.I grew up at the Matteson house and have fond memories of Mr Matteson. His big heart & giggle will always be remembered.

My family lived next to Harvey's family on Elmwood Rd in San Bernardino. He was a very good friend to my Dad and our whole family.

I grew up with Harvey"s kids on elmwood rd. I lived across the street Harvey managed the little leauge team that we all played on. How he did it ? keeping us all in line!!! I have great love and respect for Harvey Matteson Jon Mackie My condolences to the family

The Matteson Family, Our family, the Everington's of Highgrove, new the Matteson's. Our parent's owned the grocery store and we all went to the Highgrove Methodist Church and MYF. Donna and I ( Joyce) went to camp together, along with Gayle Wallace, Judy Jackson,Julianne Clay and Beverly Bowers. We are sorry for your loss and our thoughts and prayers are with you.
