Harry was my best friend Steve’s stepdad and my first football coach. They were living on Fairview before buying and fixing up the bushnell house. Tammy and Paul were babies. He was the sweetest gentlest man. I never remember him raising his voice or saying anything mean. Passing of a South Pas legend.

I was in grade school in South Milwaukee, WI when Harry's family decided to move back to California. I remember the high school tried to change their mind since it didn't want to lose such a good football player.

All of South Pas adored Harry! And we loved his song, "Hooray for ______" (fill in your name), which he loved to burst into whenever he thought it might embarass a person the most! We loved his practical jokes, his love of Nancy and the children, his allegiance to South Pas and Stanford, and his zest for life. Boy, those angels are scattering up in Heaven because Here Comes Harry, singing his heart out! We love you, Harry.

How often I remember all the good times we shared from Stanford games to Christmas Eves. Harry and Nancy have probably rounded up a few of the old gang, Al and Cre Walsh, Jack Hawkinson. Good company!! Love, Adrienne
