ISABEL "CHAVELA" ACEVES

ISABEL "CHAVELA" ACEVES June 17, 1940 - October 16, 2010 Born in Colton, California, Isabel spent her last 40+ years in Fontana with her husband, Robert "Rigo" Aceves. She is survived by her husband and five sons, Raymond Ramirez of Victorville, Victor Ramirez of Phelan, Andrew Aceves of San Bernardino, Julio Aceves of West Covina, and Dennis Aceves of San Bernardino. She was blessed with 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren, and is also survived by 5 brothers and 6 sisters. Isabel passed away peacefully on October 16, 2010, at Kaiser Hospital in Fontana after a brief hospitalization following a heart attack on October 11. She was surrounded by family when she passed, and is now in the big BINGO hall in heaven. She loved to sing and dance, especially "swing dance" and always enjoyed listening to music. She will be dearly missed by all. Memorial Services will be Wednesday, 10/20/2010, from 6 P.M. - 9 P.M. at Preciado Funeral Home, 923 W. Mill Street, San Bernardino. Mass will be on Thursday, 10/21/2010, at 10 A.M. at Our Lady Of The Rosary Cathedral, 2525 N. Arrowhead Ave., San Bernardino, followed by Burial Services at Hermosa Gardens Cemetery, 900 N. Meridian Ave., Colton, California, where she will join her parents, Margarito P. and Josefina Acosta, who preceded her.
