Jamen Amato Obituary

AMATO-Jamen Joseph Amato, Oct. 19, 1984 - Oct. 14, 2009 "YOUTH IS NOT ALWAYS WASTED ON THE YOUNG" Anyone who claims "Youth is wasted on the young" never met my nephew. He was an Honor student in high school and a star athlete at Boston College. He had the ability to bring a smile to the face of others no matter how complicated and difficult life seemed. He was blessed with the ability to bestow joy and peace on everyone he touched. He found simple happiness within his reach and share it with the world around him. Two years ago, he was diagnosed with cancer and informed that his fight for survival would be difficult, at best. After a lengthy battle, he died Wednesday. I thank God that he had outstanding medical insurance so he could obtain the very best of care during these difficult times.I also thank God that he was able to have these last two years, even if they were difficult for him. He never gave up. Those extra two years were a lifetime. I can only hope that every child in this nation, no matter where they are or what economic background is, will have this same opportunity that my young nephew had: to live their lives to the fullest. No, "Youth is not always wasted on the young." William Haupt 111, October 20, 2009 Tenneseean News. In loving memory of the times James shared his future plans and love of his fiancee with his "all right grandma," Cecilia G. Haupt.

HARDLY EVER HEAR OF ALL THE GOOD THINGS PEOPLE DO.. YOU
WERE BLESSED TO HAVE THE THIS YOUNG MAN FOR A SHORT
