Jeanne Williamson

On December 19, 2013, Jeanne Williamson passed away at the age of 90. She was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and moved to Long Beach as a child with her parents, Harriet and Charles Henry. She attended Woodrow Wilson High School and Long Beach City College. She was introduced to her future husband, architect Paul Williamson, by Virginia, his sister and her close friend. They were married 62 years at the time of his passing in 2009. Both went peacefully in their sleep at their home on Los Altos Avenue. She raised three children, raced competitively with the Little Ships Fleet Yacht Club, served in Ebell Club and Las Hermanas, and held her own at the bridge table. She loved travel and was fortunate to see much of the US and the world with her husband. She was a beautiful woman with a winning smile and a wonderful sense of humor. She will be missed, dearly, by those who knew her. She will be buried with her husband at Forest Lawn, Cypress. Her family wishes to acknowledge her amazing caregivers and the Hospice staff for their love, patience, and professionalism during the final years of her long life. Please sign the guestbook
