JESUS BOTELLO Obituary

JESUS BOTELLO Jesus Botello, beloved brother and uncle, passed away on October 15, 2010, in San Bernardino, California. Jesus was born in Lela, Texas, in 1917. He was 93 years old. Jesus spent most of his life in the cities of San Bernardino, and San Diego in California. After graduating from San Bernardino High School in 1936, Jesus joined the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1939. Jesus was also a veteran of WWII, stationed in Camp Roberts California, and honorably discharged in January of 1943. Jesus started his United States Government career in February of 1943, and it would last for 40 years. He reported to the San Bernardino Air Depot Control Area Command. Later to be renamed Norton Air Force Base, as a Mechanic Learner. In 1966 he was transferred to Naval Air Station, North Island San Diego, California, as an Aircraft Instrument Mechanic. After receiving many awards for excellent service throughout the years from the U.S. Air Force, and U.S. Navy, Jesus retired in January of 1987. Jesus was preceded in death by his mother, and father, Refugia and Guadalupe Botello of San Bernardino, brothers, Luz, and Julian Botello of San Bernardino. Jesus is survived by four sisters, Linda Alvarado of Clarkville, Arizona, Mary Ibarra, Lupe Botello, and Esther Montecino, all of San Bernardino; four brothers, Jose and Abelino Botello of San Bernardino, Ralph Botello of Fountain Hills, Arizona, and Robert Botello of Claremont, CA; and many nieces, and nephews.
